CareerForum collects information you provide when creating an account, such as your name, email address, and account type (student or mentor). When you complete the Talent Mapper assessment, we store your assessment scores and profile preferences to power mentor matching. Mentors provide profile details (bio, industry, location, expertise) which are displayed in the public mentor directory.
Your data is stored securely in a managed database with restricted access. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access to protected areas is enforced by role-based controls so students, mentors, and admins only see what they are allowed to.
We do not sell your personal information. Mentor profiles are visible to registered users for the purpose of mentorship matching. Bookings share your name and meeting details with the relevant mentor. We may share data with service providers that host our infrastructure and only to the extent required to operate the platform.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile and assessment data; bookings history may be retained for audit purposes.
